The right technique for every patient’s need

Dr. Kriangchai suggested that we should have the sperm and embryo frozen for later use, so we didn’t have to start all over from the beginning. We saved a lot of time.

Mrs. Saeng-Arun Vold

“I lessen my expectation and was prepared for disappointment because I really didn’t believe it would be successful.”

“I would like to thank the doctor with all my heart. Our family has become a more complete family.”

Jetanin: Congratulations on your lovely daughter and the second baby you are carrying which is also the result of Dr. Kriengchai’s care.

Saeng-Arun Vold:  “Yes, now our first daughter is 1 year and 4 months old and I have been pregnant with the second baby for 8 weeks.”

Jetanin: Did you previously know the reason for your infertility issues, and how long were you been married before receiving the treatment from Jetanin?

Saeng-Arun Vold:  “We’ve been married for 8 years and the reason why I couldn’t have a baby was because my husband had a vasectomy for 18 years. He tried to had a vasectomy reversal in Norway but wasn’t successful. Then we searched on the internet and found out about Jetanin. We called the counseling service and they recommended Dr. Kriengchai. Then we traveled to Thailand for a treatment at Jetanin.”

Jetanin: What did Dr.Kriengchai recommend for the treatment?

Saeng-Arun Vold:  “The doctor recommended PESA (Percutaneous Epididymal Sperm Aspiration), and he suggested we should have the sperm and embryo frozen for future-use as well. This technique is suitable for cases where the male partner has had a vasectomy or there aren’t sperm in the semen. The doctor will directly aspirate the sperm from the testicle with a needle and put them in the female’s ovum outside the body. Then the perfect embryo will be put in the uterus cavity.”

Jetanin: Did you have any worries about the treatment at Jetanin?

Saeng-Arun Vold:  “There was only stress for the fear of failure on my mind. I got stressed during the procedure and Arnfinn was worried about his vasectomy. And for whatever reason, it made my uterus not healthy enough for the embryo to be implanted on the first attempt. But Dr. Kriangchai suggested that we should have the sperm and embryo frozen for later use, so we didn’t have to start all over from the beginning. We saved a lot of time. All we had to do was to get the uterus ready for the embryo. When everything was ready, the doctor just put the frozen embryos in the uterus cavity again. I was less stressed, less pressured and a lot less worried.”

Jetanin: How did you feel when you knew that you were pregnant?

Saeng-Arun Vold: “I was extremely happy. I reduced my expectations and was prepared for disappointment because I really didn’t believe it would be successful. But the doctor finally made it happen. He was very supportive. He could relax me when I was stressed out. I feel thankful for the doctor with all my heart for completing our family, just like you can see now.”

We, at Jetanin, are so happy for the Norwegian father and Thai mother and share their delight in having their second pregnancy.
