The Beginning of Our Journey to Have a Baby
We met quite late in life, both of us were already in our 30s. After dating for about a year, we decided to get married in 2019. We planned to have two children, so they could grow up as friends. Once we started planning to have kids, we underwent medical checkups and consultations. The results showed that both of us were in good health, although I, Praew, might have a slight issue with late ovulation.
Our Health Wasn’t the Issue, But We Still Couldn’t Succeed
Despite both of us being in good health, we struggled to conceive naturally for over a year. We then tried IUI twice, but still had no success. Finally, we realized how much we wanted a baby and decided we couldn’t wait any longer, so we chose to proceed with ICSI. During the process, we were able to obtain eight embryos, four of which passed chromosomal screening. We were overjoyed, but unfortunately, the embryo transfer wasn’t successful. Dr. Jongjate then recommended a different way for treatment. After another embryo transferred, we finally succeeded and achieved the pregnancy we had hoped for.
One Day, It Will Be Our Day
We never felt discouraged. We always believed that one day it would be our turn, and we kept giving it our all. The moment we found out I was pregnant was filled with overwhelming joy. After all the times we reassured each other, saying that one day it would be our day, that day finally arrived. It felt like we had just leveled up in a game.

From the moment they opened their eyes and came into this world, our child became the most important thing in our lives. We are ready to sacrifice our energy, fatigue, happiness, and personal time to ensure they grow up with quality. Our child was born to give us a clearer purpose in life. Beyond being precious to us, they make us feel that our own lives have meaning because we are now everything to them. If we were to define the meaning of having a child, it would be that they are the source of happiness for everyone in the family, and the center of love in our home.
